How team activation differs
The official Team activation guide says the order email contains a licence key. A user signs in, opens the Help tab, chooses Activate, and enters the key. Individual plans may instead link benefits directly to an account.
Count seats before purchase
Map each regular user to a device and account. The documentation states that each licence binds to one device and one account; multiple licences should be activated separately.
- List the people who edit PDFs
- Count their active devices
- Separate shared workstations from personal laptops
- Confirm Windows or Mac requirements
- Assign order and recovery email ownership
Perpetual versus yearly for a team
Perpetual licensing is easier to justify when the same seats will use the editor for several years. A yearly plan may be cheaper for temporary staff or a short project. Compare the final quote and support terms for the exact seat count.
