Howfle uses self-hosted analytics for site measurement and records limited event data for outbound offer links so it can measure whether pages are useful.

Site analytics
Howfle uses self-hosted analytics to understand aggregate visits, page views, referrals, countries, devices, and traffic patterns. The analytics setup is intended to measure the site rather than create an advertising audience across unrelated sites.
Outbound offer measurement
When a reader follows an offer link through Howfle, the site records the relevant page, offer, placement, target host, and a shortened hash derived from the user-agent. This helps us measure whether a buying page leads to a useful merchant visit without storing the raw user-agent in the click record.

If you send a message through the contact form, the information you submit is used to respond to the request, investigate a correction, or address an operational issue. The form explains the fields it collects at the point of submission.
