For a product's plan, price, supported device count, trial, payment method, or checkout condition, the merchant's current public documentation is the preferred starting point. A page should point to the documents that support its important claims.
Independent sources have a defined role
Independent reviews, reputable software directories, and technical documentation can help test claims or add context. They do not override a current official term without making that conflict clear.
What readers can expect
